William Arthur Luera,

 Born in 2002, is the founder of NuEra-SkyTech (N.E.S.T.), established in 2022. With a lifelong curiosity about technology, William has channeled his passion into building a company that leverages advanced drone technology for commercial applications such as point cloud generation, photogrammetry, 3D modeling, and security camera installation. His technical expertise extends to building custom computers, showcasing his hands-on approach and deep understanding of advanced systems.

NuEra-SkyTech provides cutting-edge drone services, delivering high-resolution point clouds and 3D data for industries like construction, real estate, and engineering. The company also engages in urban planning and assessment, where drones can be used to document specific areas to determine whether certain parts of cities are neglected or run down compared to others. This type of work, involving aerial surveys, contributes valuable data to improve urban planning, monitor city health, and ensure equitable development. These services could be provided by NuEra-SkyTech, benefiting municipalities and organizations aiming for better city planning. Additionally, the company has completed several security camera installation projects.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, William serves as the treasurer on the board of directors for Arizona Fair Housing, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting equal housing opportunities and eliminating housing discrimination across the state. Arizona Fair Housing works to educate the public about fair housing laws, advocate for policy changes, and assist individuals facing housing discrimination.

William is also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal service organization. The Knights are committed to charitable work, supporting those in need, promoting Catholic values, and strengthening communities through service and fellowship.

As a property owner and developer, William has a keen interest in real estate and urban development, using his skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the industry.

Growing up in Phoenix, Arizona, William attended Silvestre S. Herrera School from kindergarten through eighth grade, with a year at Kenilworth for first grade. Adopted at the age of seven, William pursued diverse interests, including membership in the Phoenix Boys Choir and playing trumpet in a marching band throughout middle school.

In high school, William began at Valley Lutheran High School, where he joined the football team as a nose guard (number 26). Tragically, his mother passed away during freshman year, a life event that shaped his resilience and determination. After sophomore year, he transferred to Phoenix Coding Academy to focus on engineering, where he learned Autodesk CAD and 3D modeling. He earned a prestigious CTE Certificate for Engineering Standards in Arizona upon graduation.

At 16, William’s first job was as a field boy for Carpio's Diesel. He then worked at Amazon in 2020 before gaining valuable experience as a CAD operator at an engineering company. There, he received mentorship from experienced engineers and worked alongside CAD designers, refining his technical skills. Since founding NuEra-SkyTech, William has dedicated himself fully to expanding its services and impact. 

 Since its establishment in 2022, N.E.S.T. has offered a variety of services, including point clouds, photogrammetry, and 3D modeling using both LiDAR and non-LiDAR methods. These capabilities allow for precise mapping, surveying, and documentation of areas of interest. The company also provides professional security camera installation services, having successfully completed several projects. A key project for N.E.S.T. is the documentation of the Phoenix Light Rail along Central Avenue, a work William has been involved in since 2021.

In addition to his work with N.E.S.T., William is also the owner of Goldstein and Luera Construction (GLC), a company founded in 1982 by his father, Arthur G. Luera. GLC specializes in high-quality construction and has worked on a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. William’s upbringing in the company, after being adopted by his father at a young age, has given him a unique perspective on both the construction and engineering fields.

William’s roots in the tequila industry trace back to Bebidas LLC, an import-export company founded by his father, Arthur G. Luera, under the brand Tequila Marengo. Tequila Marengo is produced in the fertile region of Arenal, Jalisco, Mexico, known for its ideal climate and soil for agave cultivation. The tequila is crafted using 100% blue agave, with a meticulous fermentation and distillation process. The Blanco is known for its purity, while the Reposado, aged in white oak barrels, has a rich, complex flavor profile. Bebidas LLC handles the global distribution of Tequila Marengo, continuing the legacy of premium tequila production.
